The Casino at The Empire announces the launch of a unique al fresco gaming area.
on the terrace of its chic Icon Room - an unprecedented outdoor gaming area for London.

Guests can learn to play poker, blackjack, or roulette, under the expert tutelage of The Casino’s croupiers.


The terrace's original 1930s façade, restored to its former art deco glory, provides a haven for smokers and non-smokers alike. The al fresco gaming area provides a fun night with the opportunity to learn new skills while enjoying the British summer outdoors. "Learn to Play" is available Monday-Thursday on the terrace and requires at least 24 hour advance booking. O
utdoor gaming is available for group bookings at £100/hour.

Meanwhile inside The Casino every Friday and Saturday evening between 8pm-11pm free learn to plays are available in blackjack and roulette for everyone, from individuals to large groups.

What's new?
The Casino at The Empire, London’s largest casino, is now available for exclusive private hire for up to 1,800 people.

It becomes the first casino to offer clients its 50,000 square feet space for full private hire at its 5 –6 Leicester Street location. 


Layout & Event Possibilities?


Occupying the former Empire Ballroom site, The Casino at The Empire offers two spacious floors of entertainment. It houses five bars, two restaurants and several private rooms in addition to the open plan modern gaming facilities on the casino floor.

Event possibilities include award ceremonies, corporate events or premiere parties like the recent What Happens In Vegas post premiere party.


Event Spaces


  Vapor Bar

The Icon Bar VIP lounge at the front of the Empire with a large outside balcony with a great view over Leicester Square for those summer evening cocktail parties.  

A connecting door leads directly to all five screens in the Empire cinema, with seating for up to 1,300 film buffs. The cinema also offers a premium space for conferences, seminars and viewing of major sporting events.


Dancing

For dancing, head to the Shadow lounge, named after the renowned  bar in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.

The lounge features live shadow dancers performing behind an elevated glass wall. An illuminated dance floor, Swarovski crystal bar and chandeliers, three plasma screens and DJ booth prime this space for the parties ahead.

  Fu Lu Shou dining

Both restaurants are situated on the mezzanine floor. Flame (pictured below) caters for occasions ranging from business lunches to cocktail receptions offering any combination of appetising modern European dishes. Fu Lu Shou, is a more informal intimate noodle bar, offering an array of food from across Asia. Menus and canapé menus are available on request.


Face To Face is a multi-use event space with its own private bar, plasma screens, projection system, moveable stage and PA system.

Just outside the restaurants is Mocha, a boutique ice cream parlour which has been inspired by the bespoke ice creameries of America. Ice creams are made to order on a frozen marble slab with flavours and ingredients selected by the guests.


Gamers converge on the ground floor which features electronic gaming machines, roulette, punto banco, black jack, three card poker and American roulette. The Casino Floor also has a bar in the centre of the action, Vapor. The Casino at the Empire can accommodate a variety of themed parties.

To enhance the natural theme of the venue, the Empire can arrange bespoke "Learn To Play" and "Fun Money Casino" roulette and blackjack sessions as part of any event. Poker tournaments can also be arranged for all standards of players, complete with a tournament director.
