Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa, Mauritius – Refurbishment

Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa reopened in September 2009 after an extensive renovation. Highlights include the addition of five new pools each situated in the centre of a crescent of villas with views overlooking the tranquil sea. Dinarobin’s main bar, Le Mahogany, has been given a contemporary twist transforming it into a trendy lounge area.
A new room category, Club Junior Suites, has also been created and there has been a full renovation the Sports Centre and Spa.

Viceroy, Anguilla – New Resort
Opening
this month, on the beachfront in Anguilla’s exclusive West End, the
Viceroy is home to 166 contemporary and innovatively designed rooms,
suites, penthouses and villas. Acclaimed designer Kelly Wearstler has
worked with the resort to create elegant and timeless accommodation,
using organic elements, such as driftwood lamps, petrified-wood tables
and marble floors. Interiors have been custom-made and each penthouse
offers a spacious sundeck where guests can unwind in their own private
plunge pool. The resort features five Caribbean restaurants and
lounges, serving locally caught seafood and fresh locally grown fruits
and vegetables. With such a choice of dining options, guests can choose
between formal and more relaxed atmospheres.

Jumby Bay, a Rosewood Resort, Antigua – Re-opening
Jumby Bay, a Rosewood Resort re-opens its doors in December 2009 after a $28 million redevelopment.

client feedback the resort will unveil its new Rosewood Sense Spa,

The
world renowned La Mamounia reopened at the end of September 2009
following a complete renovation under the direction of noted French
designer, Jacques Garcia. The redesign includes three new riad-style
buildings and incorporates secluded accommodation with a private pool.
The hotel has several fabulous themed suites among its guest rooms and
for dining a choice of five varied restaurants and also a new roof-top
bar which will soon be the place to be seen! Originally built in 1923,

British Airways to Increase Flights to St Kitts
St
Kitts will gain a second weekly British Airways flight next spring,
launching on Tuesday 23 March 2010. The new flight will compliment the
current weekly service and tagged with Antigua, will increase capacity
to the destination and offer guests greater flexibility on the length
of their holiday.
British Airways Launches New Flights to the Maldives
On
the 25th October 2009 British Airways launched a thrice-weekly, direct
service to Male in the Maldives. This is the first time the airline has
flown to this destination.
