second promotion within the company in just 16 months. (12 Sept'08)
The
26-year-old from Banbury is now responsible for a larger portfolio of
clients in the event industry and he aims to reinforce De Boer’s
industry reputation for superior service and product range within the
temporary structure business. The company employs over 350 people
worldwide and its work ranges from its lead in temporary accommodation
for large events and festivals to airport baggage handling.
“This
is a great opportunity and something I’ve been striving for since I
joined De Boer," said James Watts. "I’m really looking forward to
working more closely and at a higher level with our clients. I’ve
really enjoyed developing good relationships with clients and I intend
to strengthen those links.”
Businesses
that James has already liaised with include Powwow Events, Stage
Electrics and Sygma Events Ltd. September 1 saw the start of his higher
profile role among these clients.
John Cochrane, De Boer’s events' sales director said: “James has become a key member of our team and I’m really pleased to announce his promotion today. De Boer has been a leading supplier of temporary structures for more than 80 years, but it’s only by carefully picking and promoting young rising stars within the business that we can stay at the top.”
