De Boer covers CEO position (People)
The
aptly named Lucas Covers has been appointed group CEO of temporary
structure specialist De Boer - whose strapline is “De Boer Covers All”.

Lucas
Covers, 46, took up the role of De Boer Group CEO this month, based at
the business’s head office in Alkmaar, the Netherlands. He succeeds
Peter Dekker, who remains on the management board.
Supervisory
board chairman Hugo Levecke said: “I have full confidence in the
capabilities of Lucas Covers to lead the company and to establish
further growth.”
Lucas Covers joins De Boer from the Amsterdam
offices of Philips Consumer Electronics, where he was chief marketing
officer. He had previously served in Paris as CEO of Philips
Electronics’ Business Group Home Networks.
A graduate of industrial design engineering at the University of Delft, Covers now lives with his wife and family in Amsterdam.
