Visit London Finalists          (Industry)

The shortlist for Visit London People’s Choice Awards was announced today and organisers warned that they expect a sell-out  event on 27 November. (22 Oct'08)

All "Tables of Diversity" have now been snapped up for the awards, however, the private "Tube Stop Box" offers an exclusive environment in which to entertain clients. Elsewhere, the  "Circles of Creativity" allows dining for large or small numbers of guests. Alternatively, the "Green Space Box" offers five guests the chance to celebrate outdoor London.  All guests will enjoy a champagne reception, three-course meal and wine.

The 2008 shortlisted finalists featured new names as well as well-known faces and places making the final round. The ceremony, held at the Royal Albert Hall, will be hosted by Capital FM’s Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon, pictured above.

Media partners the Evening Standard and 95.8 Capital FM will each host the People’s Choice Award categories online and give their readers and listeners the opportunity to have their say on the very best of London, with plenty of great prizes to be won.*

Visit London Chief Executive James Bidwell said: “The Visit London Awards go from strength to strength each year. This is reflected in the record number of entries received this year and the consistently high standard of the nominations.

“Many congratulations to all of the shortlisted businesses. It is their hard work and dedication to quality that ensures London’s position as the world’s top city destination. I urge Londoners to have their say and vote for their favourite things to see and do in our city.”
