Halloween challenge (Sitegeist)

Discerning London partygoers face a novel mystery event concept created by underground party scene chiefs, E.T.A. Abigail Parkin (28 Oct'08)
Giving
Halloween a new dimension, E.T.A will combine technology, social
networking, adventure and music in a bid to make its party the most
memorable event of Halloween.
With shades of the warehouse
rave culture of the past, E.T.A’s guests won’t know where they’re
going, who they’ll meet or where they’ll end up! All that’s required is a mobile phone and a “dressed to distress” themed outfit.
E.T.A
will guide the party crowd through the evening with a series of secret
text messages to mystery locations around London to meet other E.T.A
revellers. The destination venue will be a haunted house where E.T.A’s
finest DJs will keep the housemates dancing until the early hours.
E.T.A
aims to draw likeminded guests to the event and expects 350 of London’s
party elite to join the party. It cites past guests as including Sienna
Miller, Jade Jagger, Harvey Weinstein and James Blunt.
E.T.A’s bespoke boutique parties in one-off spaces are about more than novelty.
Music is at the heart of the brand which means optimum sound and production.
Its
offbeat venues have included a villa in the hills outside Cannes and a
converted car garage under the Westway. Past clients include Jezebel,
Frieze Art Fair, BBC1 and Sky 1
The ETA Halloween Party - Friday 31st October 8.30pm-3am.
