Westminster Collects 5th Director (P
Allyson
Hargreaves (left) has been appointed to the board of The Westminster
Collection (TWC). She become the fifth director to join TWC which now
comprises 25 prestigious venues and attractions in
Westminster. The news comes as TWC announces
that its Autumn Showcase & Party is to take place at the Royal
Courts of Justice on 22 September. The venue, too, recently joined TWC.

In
her role as business operations director for St Martin-in-the-Fields
Ltd, Allyson Hargreaves has led its commercial operations since the
venture's formation in 1987. As well as overseeing all commercial
activities on site she is responsible for new business development and
her remit includes driving the £36m renewal of St Martin-In-The-Fields
since the project's inception in 1998.
Her other roles include
committee membership of the Strand, Aldwych and Trafalgar Square
Association since 1966 and she also holds a position as deputy chair of
the Strand and Whitehall Safer Neighbourhoods Team.
Commenting
on her appointment, TWC CEO René Dee, said, "Allyson's appointment to
the board will bring solid business expertise and skills to add to
those of the existing directors. Her involvement in the associations
and communities around St Martin-in-the-Fields, vested in the various
posts she holds, are equally important in assisting us to demonstrate
our interest in the wider context of promoting Westminster as a safe
and vibrant destination to do business in."
Allyson joins the
four existing directors; René Dee ( CEO - TWC), Michael Sharp (MD,
Central Hall Westminster) and Jonathan Byrne (commercial director -
QEIICC).
