Space race                                     (Sitegeist)

Logistik has bolstered its design and communications services with the launch of CuratedSpace, a design and build company which aims to maximise the creative and commercial potential of exhibition spaces. Sat Bal (7 Apr'09)

This "new creative intelligence" for exhibitions and conferences is led by a design team whose talents span technical disciplines including interior, architectural, experiential and product design. The focus is on using new approaches to the design, build and installation of an exhibition or conference. The creative team pledges to make exhibition spaces deliver a commercial return and engage delegates.

CuratedSpace's "off-the-shelf" exhibition kits allow clients to customise the build while watching the bottom line. The hire kits can be used for events ranging from promotional to exhibitions, conferences and hospitality. Each kit allows control over the  physical layout and a choice of branding and graphics accessories.

“We work in partnership with our clients to create innovative spatial solutions that are economical and consistently on brand," said David Warner, head of retail and leisure at CuratedSpace.

"Our in-house manufacturing skills and facilities allow us to build designs in wood, metal, plastic, and composites and our commercial understanding ensures our designs add value."

Clients experience four core elements of the service; a consultancy to develop project strategy; design of novel, commercially prudent spaces; planning and full project management and implementation from procurement to final installation.

“During the last three years we have grown the Logistik Group and introduced a number of new brands to the business" Logistik group director James Wilkins said. "This has enabled us to provide a specialist service in a variety of industry environments while maintaining a group presence to offer clients a complete in-house service utilising the broad knowledge of skills and specialists from across the group in brand development, internal communication, event management and multimedia design.”
