Polaris reappoints                  (People)

Brendan Dwyer has been appointed international director of sales at the InterContinental La Torre Golf Resort Murcia.   Bethany Hutton-Stigga (25 Aug'09)

The appointment was made by Polaris Hotels and Resorts who brought in the ex La Manga Club sales director to take on sales at the new five-star hotel InterContinental La Torre Golf Resort Murcia.

Brendan Dwyer returns to Polaris Hotels and Resorts after previously holding the sales director role for InterContinental Mar Menor Golf Resort and Spa between September 2004 and June 2006.

More recently he spent a year as marketing director for the new Hyatt brand, ANDAZ, in London.  “It’s great to be back in Murcia which has been my home for the last 10 years and to have this opportunity to work with an internationally recognised brand that puts Murcia on the map," he said. "I look forward to developing new and current relationships in the marketplace and working closely with our partners.”


His position will involve the promotion of Polaris World Hotels and Resorts’ two five-star InterContinental hotels, luxury self-catering apartments, spa, golf and numerous restaurants and bars.
