Showsec secures Park deal (Industry)

Parks has confirmed that Live Nation's 10-year tenure at Hyde Park is
to continue. Showsec will supply security and crowd management services
to events in Hyde Park under an agreement set to run for the next three
years.

Showsec's
history has encompassed event security services for festivals such as
Wireless and Hard Rock Calling and one-off concerts, Party in the Park,
Live 8, Picnic in the Park and Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday Concert.
“We are delighted to be returning to Hyde Park," said Showsec operations director Simon Battersby (pic above).
"It is the jewel in the crown of London’s outdoor event spaces,
attracting prestigious events with high profile artists and visitors."
